2. What we do with your email
When you join the waitlist or the newsletter, we store your first name, email and (optionally) country. We use them solely to:
- send you an invitation to the BeFam beta,
- send a monthly newsletter about the app's progress,
- get back to you when you ask us to.
We do not sell them, rent them out or share them with third parties. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with one click in any email.
3. Cookies and analytics
The website uses no third-party tracking cookies. We only keep a small amount of local data (language, form draft) directly in your browser. No advertising identifiers.
4. Data in the app
Data you add in the app (tasks, shopping, calendar) is stored in the EU (Frankfurt, encrypted at rest). You can delete your account and all data at any time with one click in the settings.
5. AI suggestions
AI suggestions (such as a meal plan) run on encrypted instances. Content shared with the AI is never used to train models.
6. Your GDPR rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. Just write to info@befam.app; we respond within 30 days (usually within 24 hours).
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with something and we cannot work it out together, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app launches publicly. We will always notify you by email at least 14 days in advance.
